1. Scope
This policy describes the current free U.S. iPhone app. It does not cover the independent privacy practices of podcast publishers, article publishers, TradingView, Apple, or websites opened from Top Suf.
2. Information collected
- Account data: email address, service-generated account identifier, email-verification status, and authentication records needed to secure the account.
- Saved data: identifiers for podcast episodes and articles the user chooses to save for cross-device synchronization.
- Technical operations: hosting and security providers may process routine request information such as IP address, timestamps, request identifiers, and error or security events as necessary to deliver and protect the service.
Top Suf does not request a birth date, phone number, contacts, precise location, brokerage credentials, portfolio, or payment information. Search terms and playback history are processed on the device and are not stored in the Top Suf account in the current version.
3. Uses
Top Suf uses account information to create and authenticate the account, send verification or password-reset codes, synchronize Saved items, respond to requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the service.
Top Suf does not use personal information for personalized investment advice, credit or eligibility decisions, targeted advertising, or sale to data brokers.
4. Service providers and external requests
Amazon Web Services processes account authentication and Saved data for Top Suf in the United States. Service providers may process information only to provide, secure, and maintain their contracted services, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
TradingView widgets load directly from TradingView and may receive technical request information from the user’s device. Playing an episode connects directly to the podcast publisher or media host. Opening an article connects to that publisher. Their privacy policies control their collection after the device connects to them.
5. Sale, sharing, and advertising
Top Suf does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, does not display third-party advertising, and does not use Apple’s tracking permission or advertising identifier in the current version.
6. Retention and deletion
Account and cloud Saved data remain until the user deletes individual Saved items or permanently deletes the account. Successful in-app account deletion removes the Top Suf Cognito account and that account’s cloud Saved records, then clears local credentials and Saved state.
Local content caches and preferences remain on the device until replaced, cleared by the app, or removed with the app. Limited security and operational records may be retained only as reasonably necessary for service integrity, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention, then deleted or de-identified under configured retention practices.
Third parties may retain information under their own policies. Deleting a Top Suf account does not delete records independently held by Apple, TradingView, or publishers.
7. User choices and rights
Users can browse public market-conversation content without creating an account. They can remove Saved items, sign out, or permanently delete a Top Suf account in Account settings.
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, and receive information about data practices, without unlawful discrimination. Top Suf does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, so there is no sale/sharing opt-out required for the current practices.
Submit a privacy request through the Top Suf Support page. Top Suf may verify control of the account before acting on a request.
8. Security
Top Suf uses encrypted network connections, Amazon Cognito authentication, JWT authorization, Keychain storage for tokens, user-scoped database keys, least-privilege service roles, bounded retries, and environment separation. No security system is perfect, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children’s privacy
Top Suf is a general-audience service and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information without the consent required by law should contact Top Suf through the Support page.
10. Changes
The effective date will be updated when this policy changes. If a change materially affects account information or user choices, Top Suf will provide an in-app notice or request renewed acknowledgement where appropriate.
